Another evening filled with great music, good food and a loooot of fun went by...
Yesturday Bernard and I went to shop for dinner and got some fantastic sushi from our favorite sushi restaurant down the road.
It is just so amazing how cheap the sushi over here is...they say it is considered to be the second most popular takeout food and the Number one fast food of Western Canada...isnt that amazing ?
We got a big tray filled with california rolls, crab meat, BC rolls, dynamite rolls, tuna rolls, spicy tuna rolls, salmon rolls, cucumber rolls, spider rolls, BBQ salmon rolls and a soft shell crab and boy, we enjoyed it so much and Neville the chef cook finally got to take a day off !
After a great dinner Bernard set up all the tools to do some recordings. As he is a recording engineer, we are talking about a professional doing that and it was quite an experience to see how a recording is done and what you can do with it. We recorded the Ray Charles song "You don't know me". As usual I was terrefied by my own voice....Nev played his part first (beautifully) and then we recorded my voice on top of that.
Tomorrow evening Jamie is going to come over again and we will hopefully get to record a song with him.
This morning the first snow was falling and we finally get to use our sauna in the building as by now it is quite cold. (shiver, shiver;o))
Shaun and Bernard are off for a couple of days before they will head off to Singapore and we are sure to have some great postings coming up with some nice pics.
Until then take care everybody and thank you for dropping by sometimes...
love
Vera and Nev
